Mountains Beyond Mountains, a train of thought.
I’ve had the Arcade Fire’s Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) on repeat for DAYS. It’s stunning.
It reminds me of Mountains Beyond Mountains one of my favorite non-fiction books by journalist Tracy Kidder about Dr. Paul Farmer who works in Haiti (and elsewhere) fighting Malaria.
The title comes from a Haitian proverb: “Beyond mountains there are mountains.”

I read this in the book What the Dog Saw a while ago, and realized in geeky ecstasy that Mad Men was modeling itself after this story as last season ended. Amazing.
